Erwin Lopez Rada is a Venezuelan residing in Chicago. He is a journalism student at Northeastern Illinois University and a Contributor to The NEIU Independent. He wrote before at The Uptown Exchange, a student-run newspaper at Harry S Truman College. He loves soccer, documentary photography and he is also a staunch defender of democracy and the institutions that sustain it.
