NEIU Police Blotter for June 7 to June 23, 2018

 

June 7: CCIS: A contractor’s vehicle was broken into by an unknown offender and a pack of cigarettes were stolen.

June 12: 3536 W. Bryn Mawr: A NEIU neighbor reported that an unknown offender placed an offensive three-foot-high sign in front of his door during the night.

June 20: 5258 N. St. Louis Avenue: An unknown offender wrote graffiti on an electrical box located on campus.

June 20: 5500 N. St. Louis Avenue: A faculty member received a personal threat via email from someone unknown to victim. The matter is currently under investigation.

June 20: Student Union: Two juveniles attending a DCFS summit had a verbal altercation during a competitive jeopardy-style game.

June 23: Buildings C, D and E: A fire alarm was set off in these buildings without cause. An electrician reset the alarm.

June 23: Kimball and Foster: An officer observed an elderly male lying on the ground next to his walker. The man said he felt dizzy and the officer remained with the man until the fire department arrived.
