Town Hall on DACAmented individuals

The University community and the public are invited to attend a Town Hall on DACAmented individuals from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at El Centro.

Panelists from community organizations, businesses and schools will speak about challenges and resources for DREAMers, DACA recipients and undocumented students. The Town Hall is part of “DACAmentation: Humanizing Our Stories,” a series of podcast episodes produced by NEIU students and alumni that is airing on Spanish Public Radio.

The event is co-sponsored by the Department of Communication, Media and Theatre, El Centro and Spanish Public Radio.

The Online News Association administers this project with support from Excellence and Ethics in Journalism Foundation, the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, Knight Foundation, the Democracy Fund, Rita Allen Foundation and the Scripps Howard Foundation.
