LAST OF THE COMANCHES
Directed by Andre de Toth • 1953 • 35mm from Sony Pictures Repertory
All screenings are held in Northeastern’s Auditorium at 7:30 p.m., located in the E Building at 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Chicago. Some highlights include “Linda” (silent with live organ accompaniment), summer favorite “Car Wash,” a Busby Berkeley musical (“Gold Diggers of 1935), a film by Dorothy Arzner (the first woman in the Directors Guild of America), and “Melvin and Howard” directed by Jonathan Demme, who sadly just passed away.
Tickets are $2 with a NEIU ID and $5 for the general public, and can be purchased at the door.

We are beginning our seventh season of film screenings on campus sponsored by the Chicago Film Society. All screenings will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the NEIU Auditorium, and the films will be presented on 35mm using the best possible prints from studios and archives.
