  Jon Stewart, anchor of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, has accepted a challenge put forth by Bill O’Reilly, host of Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor. The two pundits will debate for 90 minutes in presidential debate format, about the current presidential election on Oct. 6, 2012, at 7 p.m. CT, from George Washington University in Washington D.C. The event, aptly named “The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium,” will be streamed live for $4.95, and half of the profits will be donated to various charities.   Muse O’Fire, a collaborative work of poetry and music is coming to the NEIU Recital Hall at 3 p.m. on Oct. 16, 2012. Wordsmith Carolyn Aguila melds her own personal twist on poetic formalism with the accentuating melodies played by three acclaimed Chicago musicians; Steve Hashimoto, leader of the bands Mothra and Sueños, on bass; Aaron Koppel, leader of the Aaron Koppel Quartet, on guitar and Chicago Jazz festival regular Nils Higdon on percussion.
