The following offenses occurred at NEIU’s main campus between Aug. 30 and Sept. 20:

Aug. 30 – Lot F: A traffic accident occurred in Lot F. No injuries were reported.

Aug. 31 – Student Union: A student reported leaving a camera in the student union and it was gone upon return.

Aug. 31 – Parking Facility: An accident occurred within the Parking Facility. No injuries were reported.

Aug. 31 – Ronald Williams Library: A belt slipped off a motor within an elevator, which created smoke but a fire was not produced.

Sept. 6 – Lot F: A traffic accident occurred in Lot F. No injuries were reported.

Sept. 7 – Financial Aid Office: A victim left their purse in the Financial Aid Office and it was gone when they returned for it.

Sept. 11 – LWH Bike Rack: Victim reported two bike tires taken off of bicycle parked on the bike rack outside LWH.

Sept. 14 – The Nest: A roommate was struck in the face after an argument. An arrest was made, the assailant was sent to domestic violence court.   

Sept. 20 – Financial Aid Office: Aid office reported six checks made out on an NEIU account were fraudulent.

The following offenses occurred at NEIU’s El Centro campus:

Aug. 31 – Stalking: Student reported being stalked by ex-boyfriend. Notifications were made.

Sept. 19 – Damage to property: Third floor vending machine incurred damage.
