Artist’s Comments About the Piece: I wanted to display America’s love affair with inhumane life sentences and the media’s complicity in it, and what better way than to use America’s most beloved media mogul – Oprah Winfrey – to make the point.
Artist’s Description of Himself: I am an activist artist in that I solely produce art as an act of resistance or in support of some cause.
