Artist’s Comments About the Piece: I wanted to try to visualize how mass incarceration harms not only the people in prison, but also their loved ones left in society, and therefore society as a whole.
Artist’s Description of Himself: I am an activist artist in the sense that I almost solely produce art as an act of resistance or in support of some cause.
