Learn about student media and opportunities to work with the Independent campus newspaper, WZRD radio, Seeds literary and visual arts journal, and Que Ondee Sola magazine.

FEATURING GUEST SPEAKER GREG KOT

Greg has been a music critic and columnist at the Chicago Tribune since 1990 and co-hosts “Sound Opinions,” produced by WBEZ in Chicago and heard on public radio stations around the country. Greg has written several books, co-authored another, and made major contributions to other books about some of the most legendary musicians of our time. He’s also written extensively for a wide-range of outlets and publications including the BBC, Rolling Stone, Encyclopedia Britannica, Entertainment Weekly, Vibe, and Men’s Journal , just to name a few.
