Three Cases of Damage to State Property were committed between Feb. 18 and March 8, 2013. The first on Feb. 18 at the Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies (CCICS), was when an unknown individual inflicted damage to an inner wall.
On Feb. 21, in the men’s bathroom of the Fine Arts building, graffiti was found written inside a stall and facilities were called to clean it up. Another case of damage was on March 8, where obscene words were found written on a stall wall in the male washroom in the College of Business and Management building on Northeastern Illinois University’s main campus.
On Feb. 16 the Chicago Fire Department responded when an individual set off a fire alarm in the Ronald Williams Library. The Fire Department reset the alarm.
On Feb. 20 at 5300 N. Pulaski, three citations and an I-bond were issued to an individual who was driving on a suspended driver’s license, was speeding, and had no insurance. A court date is still pending.
Also on Feb. 20, a jacket was stolen from an office area on the fifth floor of the C- building. The jacket was valued under $300.
