Meet the Police: Lieutenant India Moore
NEWS
In this new series “Meet The Police” Independent Reporters interview NEIU Police officers about their personal customs, tastes, and what they do on their down time.
Independent: What led you to become an officer?
Moore: “Well, I started as a telecommunicator. I answered calls, dispatched officers. After a while I thought to myself, ‘Hey, I could do this.’ So I took the exam to become a police officer and I passed. And many years later, I’m here.”
Independent: What’s your favorite sports team?
Moore: “The Bears, of course.”
Independent: What do you like to do in your down time?
Moore: “Read — I’m a nerd.”
Independent: Superman or Batman. Who would win?
Moore: “Batman.”
Independent: Why Batman?
Moore: “Because he has more tools.”
Independent: What’s one thing you’d like NEIU students to know about you?
Moore: “I’m friendly, I’m approachable and they can ask me almost anything.”
