Police Blotter: Oct. 20
The following offenses occurred on NEIU’s main campus from Sept. 24 to Oct 12:
October 20, 2015
Sept. 24, Parking Garage: An individual was issued a traffic citation for driving with a suspended driver’s license and using an electronic device while driving.
Sept. 28, Main Campus: An unknown offender stole a victim’s wallet from her book bag.
Oct. 1, Parking Garage: An unknown offender hit a victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the garage.
Oct. 6, Information Desk: A victim reported $80 was stolen from his wallet. The case is still under investigation.
Oct. 6, Fine Arts Building: An unknown offender stole a laptop from the office area. The case is still under investigation.
Oct. 8, Main Campus: An unknown offender stole a victim’s cell phone from her book bag.
Oct. 8, Parking Lot F: An unknown offender struck and damaged a victim’s vehicle while it was in the parking lot.
Oct. 12, Fine Arts Elevator: An unknown offender slashed the elevator padding.
The following offense occurred off of NEIU’s Main Campus:
Sept. 28, BOB Testing Center: An unknown offender wrote graffiti on property of the building.
