The following offenses occurred on NEIU’s main campus from May 18 to August 13.
May 19, Student Union: An unknown individual was reported to have been acting strange around a visiting high school group.
May 21, Loading Dock: Shipping and Receiving reported the theft of a 10 oz from shipment.
May 21, E Building: An individual reported a university camera missing from the Independent office.
June 1, Bernard Brommel Hall: A student reported that someone stole their rear, bike tire.
June 16, Fine Arts Building: An unknown offender stole three cameras.
June 17, B Building: An unknown offender stole a rear, bike tire.
June 17, PE Complex: An unknown offender stole a rear, bike tire and paddle straps.
June 18, PE Complex: An unknown offender stole a rear, bike tire.
June 19, PE Complex: An individual was the victim to threats of bodily harm.
June 22, B Building: An unknown offender stole a rear, bike tire and seat.
June 25, Student Union: An unknown offender stole a cell phone from a washroom.
June 25, Parking Lot F: An individual was arrested on active warrant out of Kane County, the offender bonded and was released.
June 29, PE Complex Lot: An unknown offender struck an individual’s car while parked in the lot.
June 29, Bernard Brommel Hall: An unknown offender stole a voltmeter from a computer lab.
July 13, Lech Walesa Hall: A computer system was subject to attempt of theft, the case is under investigation.
July 15, Bernard Brommel Hall: An unknown offender stole a camcorder.
July 15, Fine Arts Building: An unknown offender wrote graffiti on the first floor of the women’s washroom.
July 15, Lech Walesa Hall: An unknown offender stole a computer.
July 21, Lech Walesa Hall: Two students got into a verbal disagreement.
July 27, Fine Arts Building: An unknown offender etched graffiti.
August 7, Lech Walesa Hall: An upset student caused a disturbance.
August 13, Ronald Williams Library Two students were involved in a verbal altercation.
The following offenses occurred off NEIU’s main campus from May 18 to August 13:
May 18, Off Campus: An unknown individual reported receiving threatening messages and phone calls.
June 8, EL Centro: An unknown offender wrote graffiti on a warehouse.
June 24, Off Campus: An individual’s vehicle was towed after receiving four citations.
June 25, Off Campus: An unknown individual was causing a disturbance.
July 9, CCICS: A bullet possibly damaged a door report was administratively closed.
July 22, Off Campus: An unknown offender violated an order of protection by making contact with a student on campus.
July 27, El Centro: An unknown offender wrote graffiti on one of the corners of the building.
August 13, El Centro: An unknown offender wrote graffiti on the north side of the building.
