The following offenses occurred at NEIU’s main campus-site between the dates of July 2 to Aug. 2.

1. 5349 N. St. Louis Ave, July 2, a driver was issued with a ticket for driving without license and insurance, and disobeying a stop sign. (Not Mapped)

2. LWH Building, July 3, a student was asked to leave the classroom after becoming agitated and disruptive, the student was referred to a behavior concern team.

3. C-Building, July 8, an unknown offender stole three emergency notification boards from the building. The offense is under investigation.

4. P.E. Building, July 8, an unknown offender blew up a portable restroom on the athletic field. The offense has been administratively closed.

5. 3500 W. Bryn Mawr, July 15, three citations were issued to the owner of a vehicle displaying improper plates, no front plates, and no insurance. (Not Mapped)

6. Parking Lot – D, July 17, an unknown offender broke a victim’s car window. The offense has been administratively closed.

7. B.O.B. Building, July 18, an NEIU staff member resigned after making threatening phone calls to other NEIU staff. The case is still open. (Not Mapped)

8. Bernard Brommel Hall, July 21, a faulty smoke detector set off the fire alarm.

9. Loading Dock, July July 22, a burglary is under investigation in which 12 cartons of books were reported missing from the loading dock area. (Not Mapped)

10. P.E. Building, July 22, an unknown offender wrote graffiti inside of a men’s washroom stall. The offense has been administratively closed.

11. 3800 W. Foster, July 23, three citations were issued to a driver for expired registration, no insurance, and an improper sticker. (Not Mapped)

12. Parking Lot D, July 29, an unknown offender struck and damaged another vehicle while parked in the lot and fled from the scene. The offense has been administratively closed.

13. E-Building, July 30, an unknown offender made scratches on the wall with a possible sharp object. The offense has been administratively closed.

14. C.O.B.M. Building, Aug. 1, an unknown offender wrote graffiti inside of a men’s washroom stall. The offense has been administratively closed.

15. LWH Building, Aug. 1, an unknown offender etched graffiti inside on a mirror inside of a men’s washroom stall. The offense has been administratively closed.

16. E-Building, Aug. 2, dust from a construction site set off fire alarm. University engineers reset alarm.
